This Privacy Policy applies to small software applications, scripts, utilities, and integrations operated by Daniel Challis and published through danielchallis.com (collectively, the “Applications”).
Some Applications may connect to third-party services, including Google services, using OAuth or similar authorization mechanisms. Depending on the Application and the permissions you approve, an Application may access data such as calendar events, files, email metadata, or other information associated with your account.
Each Application is intended to request only the permissions reasonably required for its stated function. Access is limited to the account(s) that explicitly authorize the Application.
Information obtained through an authorized service is used only to provide the functionality of the relevant Application, such as reading, copying, organizing, synchronizing, archiving, or otherwise processing data at the direction of the user.
Applications may store configuration data, OAuth tokens, identifiers, logs, or copies of user data when this is necessary for their operation. Such data may be stored on privately controlled systems or in services selected by the user.
Data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the Application's intended purpose, troubleshooting, security, or recordkeeping. Users may revoke an Application's access at any time through the relevant third-party account settings.
Personal information obtained by these Applications is not sold, rented, or used for advertising. Information is not shared with third parties except where necessary to provide the requested functionality, comply with law, protect security, or interact with services explicitly authorized by the user.
Where an Application accesses Google user data, its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with applicable Google API Services User Data policies, including Limited Use requirements where applicable.
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect credentials and stored information. However, no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You may stop using an Application at any time and may revoke its authorization through the account settings of the connected service. If you believe an Application retains information that should be deleted, you may request deletion using the contact details below.
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the Applications, connected services, or legal requirements. The current version will be published at this URL.
Questions about this Privacy Policy or an Application may be directed through danielchallis.com.
